DJ BORJA

Borja is a stalwart of the Barcelona scene therefore one of the country's best known DJs. During his long career as a DJ he has played at the majority of the city's clubs and gone behind the decks with some of the world's most illustrious DJs, as well as participating in various music festivals, such as Sónar and Monegros. Le Pop Bar is the perfect venue to prove his versatility on the decks and his vast knowledge of music. His sets - specially chosen for the hotel - show the connections that exist between pop, rock, and electronic music.

Our resident DJ, and the person who coordinates Le Pop Bar's artists, is a true music lover and cultural agitator. He has been playing out at all types of bar, club and fiesta all over Barcelona and other cities in Spain. He has played at some of Spain's main festivals, such as Benicàssim, Sónar and Doctor Music Festival, where he has shown off the versatility of his style; his musical tastes are too varied for him to be pigeonholed into a single style. He currently hosts the Electric Café show on Scanner FM.

Nacho and Andrés started DJing in 2001; tired of the music they were hearing in Barcelona's clubs and bars, they decided that they should play their own. Since then, they have been behind the decks at Mau Mau, Astin, Mond Bar, La Macarena, Nitsa-Picnic, Lasal Mataró, Sidecar, BeCool, Mas Sorrer de Gualta and Le Pop Bar, amongst others. Lovers of all types of music, as DJs they focus on pop, soul, jazz and electronic music. Their sets, regardless of style, always strive for originality, quality and a groove. Always a groove.
